How sustainable sportswear is also decided during washing

An article from the mountain sports magazine explains how we can protect the environment with proper care of sportswear. Sports and functional clothing is mostly made of synthetic fibre, which is produced from petroleum. When washed, small fibres – so-called micro plastics – come loose and then enter the water cycle. The consumer protectors of AK Upper Austria have tested various T-shirts and provide tips on how to avoid micro plastics when washing.
